What it does

Google Maps and Yelp. Search results and business pages get a colored label: PE-backed, PE-backed now lender-controlled, corporate-owned, health system, doctor-owned group, or no known PE ties.
Any website. On a practice’s own site, click the toolbar icon. The extension reads the business name, address and phone on the page and checks them against our data.
Details and sources. Hover a label for a preview, click to pin it: the group, its backers, how we matched it, and links to our sources.
Not covered yet? Ask us to check a business from the popup. We research requests in batches and can email you when it’s done.

Privacy

No account, no analytics, no ads. We don’t sell or share anything.
On Google Maps and Yelp it reads only the business listings on the page. On other sites it reads the page only when you click its icon.
Checks run on your device against data files downloaded from peornot.org by area. Your searches aren’t sent to us. A check request is sent only when you submit one.
